新物體識別實(shí)驗(yàn)(Novel Object Recognition,NOR)是評價(jià)動物學(xué)習(xí)記憶能力的基本實(shí)驗(yàn)之一,它不依賴于空間提示,它是基于實(shí)驗(yàn)動物喜新厭舊的天性而設(shè)計(jì)的。通過觀察并記錄實(shí)驗(yàn)動物對新物體的嗅探次數(shù)、時(shí)間等參數(shù)可以很好的考察實(shí)驗(yàn)動物的事件記憶能力。除了物體,實(shí)驗(yàn)動物也可以被訓(xùn)練從熟悉的氣味中辨別陌生的氣味、味道和社會伙伴。
